independence days

As much as we love sipping shandies in the sun and watching fireworks at night, maybe we should consider some adjunct traditions this “Independence Day” weekend.

What if every 4th of July we recommitted to living freely in relationship to ourselves? What if we renewed our investments to expressing ourselves fully, loving without reservation, living without fear, and pursuing our dreams and fulfillment without getting in our own way every damn time?

Wherever you are, and whatever you do this weekend, celebrate the fact that you get to live this life. Don’t waste it a minute of it by living by anyone else’s standards—least of all those of your fear-based ego!
