Post 1 of 3: Do you ever notice how the things that you need the most are often that which you resist when you most need them?
Why would we do this to ourselves? Especially when we know (at least some) of the things that actually help to make us feel better (rest, tea, walks, yoga, meditation, time with friends…)?
By contrast, if someone you loved was hurting, would you start to withhold caretaking or would you double down on what you knew they needed?
You deserve your love as much as anyone else.
